Opted to buy the white 4” screen HOMIEE BP Monitor (Auto Upper Arm Style) Model #: BP1001 WITH the AC Adapter, which was $13 more than if I had just bought the monitor without the AC adapter. Upon receipt, couldn’t understand why the Instruction Manual only mentioned using the 4 AA batteries and not mention the AC Adapter (that came in the box, as I had ordered). In what appears to be added text to the END of manual, is the following text ”Please be noticed the power adapter is not supplied from the origin, users can buy the adapter in the market which must comply to EN60601-1,EN60601-1-2”. ALSO: on page 18 of the Manual (Section 14: Guarantee): it states ”The guarantee is only valid upon presentation of the guarantee card filled out by the dealer”. I’ve emailed the manufacturer today, asking if my product would be covered under the 2-year warranty listed, even though I purchase of Amazon Prime Canada online (and did not receive a card from the dealer). ALSO: the Instruction Manual is in VERY SMALL FONT, so an older adult would have a very difficult time reading it. Having said all that, I would still recommend this product for ease of use and accuracy – just pay $46.99 to have no adapter vs $59.99 for an adapter that didn’t actually come from the manufacturer.

I bought this blood pressure monitor for my father since he needs to check his blood pressure twice a day (doctor’s order). His eyesight is pretty bad because of his old age, so the large LCD screen of this monitor is great. He goes see the doctor once a month and just had his monthly doctor’s visit last week. My dad told me he had the monitor with him when he visited the doc, and showed the blood pressure reading history to the doctor directly from the monitor. This monitor is very easy to use for my 90 year old father.

Although I find this monitor quite uncomfortable when it’s squeezing, I know it’s doing that to get a more accurate reading. I use the ”x2” option, so that it takes 2 measurements and gives an average of the readings. It also has the additional indicators for heart arrhythmia and HFB (whatever that might be). The monitor itself is very easy to read, even the numbers for the date and time, however, the only quarrel I have with the unit is the tiny print in the instruction manual. I still don’t know what the symbol for ”problems with the cuff” is supposed to look like, I can read the symbols on the monitor, but can’t read them in the booklet.

Product appears to be of reasonable quality, however quality control is questionable in calibration department. Higher tech unit with extra bells and whistles but my unit somehow wants to add 40 points to both Systolic and Diastolic readings. Unless a solution is found this unit is on its way back to inventory .—Situation Resolved!
PS: Great manufacturer customer service team resolved an unusual event in a very timely manner. Many thanks to Kathy, Manager of Customer Service Department of the HOMIEE Team who took charge right away and arranged for delivery of replacement that does the job expected. Bought the monitor for its A-Fib feature for a family need–an amazing technical feature. After a series of test runs of the replacement, I am comfortable with upgrading my rating of this product.

My wife usually takes my blood pressure with a hand pump, and I decided to try a machine. After reading the reviews of many and comparing features vs price we chose the Homiee. It was delivered on time and intact.
The features of this machine are nice. The arm cuff works well for me, better than our old manual pump cuff, and is easier to do by myself. It seems to be accurate and consistent. With A-fib it is sometimes hard to get a good reading manually , but this machine seems to work well, detects the A-fib and indicates it as well as pulse rate.
I like the 2 person tracking feature which tracks 120 readings for each person. And it has an A/C adapter so I don’t have to keep buying batteries.
Overall I’m very pleased with this machine after one weeks use and hope it lasts a long time.

Although we already own a blood pressure monitor, I purchased this one because of its ability to detect AFIB since my husband has recently been told that he’s experienced it without our knowing it.

I bought it for my mom as a Thanksgiving gift. She used it every day. It has memory, so she can go back to compare her previous blood pressure. Also, it takes two readings and works out average. It also fixes for large arm. She really likes it. It is easy to use and store.

I just purchased this unit, and very concerned about my readings. I’ve been diagnosed with high BP, and was advised to monitor my BP, at home and take my results to my doctor. My results are showing quite high, which concerns me, however when my husband takes his BP, the readings for him are too showing very high, and he doesn’t have high BP.
So I’m worried I’m not getting proper readings, and how can this be accurate to advise my doctor?
How do I contact the seller as maybe I have a machine that is faulty and should have it replaced, please any help with returning this would be appreciated.

It was hard to find a machine that can be used with both batteries and adapted for plug-in also. I wanted one with steady AC power supply, but they are a little hard to find in stores, most are only battery powered. I am very pleased with the accuracy, results were the same when compared with 2 other machines.

Wife had a wrist BP cuff and it seemed off so when she went for an appointment she took it to the docs and matched it up, lo and behold it was reading incorrectly. The doctor suggested this model and it works great matches the doctor’s very closely.

For over 50 years, I purchased Omron Monitors for friends, family, and my self because they were the BEST.
Then, my twenty year old Omron Monitor NO LONGER worked! When I studied the latest Omron products, they are JUNK, too many gimmicks, unreliable, NO A/C plug-in. Batteries only. Bad idea when caring for someone with major blood pressure problems and batteries die, traveling and unable to quickly buy needed size battery. NOTICE hospital equipment is NEVER RUN ON BATTERIES. WHY SHOULD YOU RELY ON THEM?
MY NEW MONITOR IS PERFECT, EASY TO USE, RELIABLE RESULTS, INCLUDING CUFF. IT TOOK ME WEEKS TO RESEARCH AND SPEAK TO MANUFACTURERS BEFORE MAKING MY DECISION. AS A NURSE, I AM OBLIGED TO DO SO FOR EVERYONE’S SAKE.
