This monitor was giving me super high readings which took me to the ER! Once there, they used a manual cuff and it was perfectly normal. They said these are not accurate.

My wife wanted a BP machine with a different cuff than our original Omron. I ordered this and yes, it was easier to use. It worked well at first, but the past couple of weeks it is useless. It can take two to four attempts to get anything other than an error reading. The readings have become unreliable.
If you look at the photo, these BP tests were done 2 minutes apart. The meter on the left gave me two error reading and finally one that would scare you to call an ambulance.
Only thing left to do is find the paperwork to send it back.

I purchased this for my husband who had a medical procedure. I have monitored his BP for over two months. It is not accurate. We compared it to the physicians in multiple offices being he had bypassx2 and the many doctors offices are equal to each other’s, but his BP is higher than there machines through touch. And yes, we did repeat it with the nurse, then the doctor to verify this. I even bought a charge cord for power thru electricity, thinking the batteries were dying. Same readings. I would recommend this in an emergency only however, accuracy isn’t its strong point.

Product was exactly as described. I like that the screen is nice and large for persons who may be visually impaired. Also the fact that there are two profiles is convenient so that more than one person can use and record their BP values. It does require 4 AA batteries however and I wish there was a way to order it with the AC adapter as well.
Also, shipping time for me was extremely fast as I placed my order and the very next morning it was delivered to me!

Pros: Large easy to read numbers. Colored lights also show if you are in the high BP range or normal. Faster than my wrist version and more accurate according to my Dr. Portable and can run on 4 AA batteries or a AC adapter (not included). I also purchased a case for it that comes with an AC adapter for $9.99. (Hard CASE for Omron 10 Series Wireless Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor [Extra Charger Included!] (Series 5 & 7 also fit). I was able to get 10% off with the Amazon coupon special. Cheaper than getting one from Wal-Mart. Pretty easy to set time and date.
Omron 7 Series Wireless Bluetooth Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor with Two User Mode (120 Reading Memory)- Compatible with Alexa
Cons: It took me all night to get it to sync with my Moto E4+ phone. Make sure your fitness watch has bluetooth turned off or it will want to sync with it. I watched Omron’s Youtube videos and it didn’t help me at all. Trial and error got me through to sync correctly. Having Bluetooth so I can keep a record on my phone or computer was why I purchased this model. It is as loud as my old wrist monitor. I don’t mind the noise as long as it’s accurate.

WARNING FOR THE BP761N USERS: The ”OMRON WELLNESS” App is a pretty good app imo, however Omron recently came out with the ”OMRON CONNECT” App which totally sucks imo. Evertime I would open the OMRON WELLNESS App, it would ask me to upgrade. So I finally did and it installed the OMRON CONNECT App, and transferred all my data from the OMRON WELLNESS App and would no longer allow me to use the origial WELLNESS App. I hated the new CONNECT App. So to fix, I uninstalled the OMRON CONNECT App, and had to create a new account (with a different email) in the OMRON WELLNESS App, using the Second User on the BP761N (yeah… it has a switch for User 1, and User 2). I had to go to the USER 2, because it would not let me pair User 1 to a new email account It gave me a message that User 1 was already being used. So.. that sucks imo. The difference in the original OMRON WELLNESS App and the OMRON CONNECT App is the latter makes you go through extra steps to actually see graphs of your BP readings. And it has a bunch of extra crap, and ads that you just don’t need or want. It also makes you click a box to receives ads and promotions when you try to login with your account (the first time you log in). I’m guessing you have to buy the premium version to lose the ads.
This is my 2nd BP761N monitor. I dropped the first one on hard pavement, and the LCD broke. Both monitors always read higher than comparison with medical clinic BP measurements. I’ve done this comparison more than once, and averaged the difference between the BP761N and clinic measurements. So I use an excel spreadsheet (that I created) which subtracts the difference from the BP761N measurements… to give me a better idea of what my BP is actually running at. The problem however, is the BP761N is not consistent. Sometimes it’s closer to the clinic’s numbers, and sometimes it farther. But it does consistently read higher than the medical clinic’s numbers.
You get what you pay for I suppose.

Works perfectly and the bluetooth connection to my phone makes it easy to print out logs.

My wife and I use this machine regularly. It allows us to store present and past readings so that we can see what progress is being made or not.

Arrived earlier than expected. Great quality and Happy with the price.
Arm cuff very easy to put in correctly.
Easy to set up. Did not try Bluetooth yet.
My doctor compared readings with her equipment and was very impressed with the accuracy.

Great product, very accurate. I did have some trouble pairing the machine to my Samsung S8+, when you create an account with Omron Wellness app, when you log in, you HAVE to put in all lower case letters for your email address or you will get a error message. For example, if you make an account using ‘[email protected]’, you HAVE to log on to the app like this ‘[email protected]’
Also even though this is a BP761 model, you need to select BP761N on the app when you pair for the first time to your cell phone, or else it won’t pair.
The cuff is amazing, it fits perfect on your arm without it moving around when you go try to tighten the cuff

My Omron 7 Series Meter read 35-40 points higher on top number and 25-30 points higher on bottom number compared with my Dr.s office readings. I called Omron customer service. They said send it in UPS (at my own expense despite only being 3 weeks old) and they would check it out. 4 days later I got the same machine back with a letter saying the machine checked out good. My guess is that they never even checked it. Or that if the tech that checked it out is competent then their checking equipment is not. So now I’m the proud owner of a worthless BP monitor. Don’t bother trying to give Omron the opportunity to make things right … they won’t. Thank-goodness Amazon has a no-hassle return policy. Thank-you Amazon !!!

Very professional device. I’ve been able to track my blood pressure to pass this info on to my doctor. The Bluetooth feature along with the Android App works perfectly with my Samsung Smart phone. I would recommend this device especially if your a techie that needs to monitor your blood pressure for on going health reasons.
UPDATE: this unit doesn’t work with Bluetooth on newer phones! I had to replace my phone and it is no longer compatible to connect to this unit.
