At first we would pick it up by holding the top and bottom of the unit. Now and then it would reset (the date and all recorded readings would be erased). It turned out that when we held the top and bottom of the unit, sometimes the pressure if our grip caused the reset ):

While initially the device appeared to work very well, except for the resetting issue, it stopped pressurizing the cuff after about a week. We replaced the batteries, the issue did not go away. Dead after a week.

As close to flawless as one might get in a home health product. The company supplies clear, detailed instructions and ready online support. However, it is simplicity itself to use and completely self-guided. Strap it on your wrist as shown, angle your arm according to the real-time feedback, and bingo, you have your heart rate and blood pressure in seconds. Amazing! I can’t testify to its accuracy or consistency, but my readings were in the same range as in my online medical history, so it’s looking good. Even the packaging reflects thought and care. All in all, a great product and great value.

This wrist cuff Blood Pressure Monitor is much easier to use than a traditional arm cuff monitor.

The Balance Health App was very easy to set up and connect the BP monitor to my iPhone. It allows for two users, which works well for my wife and me and the app will track you blood pressure.

I compared the readings to a full-size arm cuff monitor, that I own and found the Greater Good monitor reads about 5% lower.

Monitors will vary about 5% from one to the other and this is considered to be within an acceptable variance range.

This is an excellent BP monitor at a very good price.

This is now my favorite blood pressure monitor. It is very small making it easy to keep in my backpack so I can always measure by BP at the same time each day. The included instructions are detailed and the quick start video gets you up and going quickly. It is important to note with this wrist based monitor you must place you elbow on a firm surface and keep the wrist at the same level as the heart to get an accurate measurement. There is an indicator on the left side to help you know when you have the device as the right level to get a good measurement. I have been using this daily for about a week and comparing it to full size meters and find the measurements are all in the same range.

After reading my previous 2 star review because of a defective monitor , Greater Goods contacted me several times to rectify my unhappy purchase . They quickly sent me a replacement monitor . I received it today , and all the functions operate . The previous monitor had a defect where the arm positioning assistant would not work at all which made me skeptical of the blood pressure readings . I am fairly confident now that the new replacement monitor is giving me good readings . Thank you Greater Goods !

This cuff works well for me and it is easy to track my results. This cuff is easier to use than a prior wrist cuff I was using. The arrows on the screen directing you to adjust your arm position help to remind you to position your arm correctly (often when I’m sitting down, my wrist isn’t as in line with my body as I think). The measurement is completed quickly and the cuff is not excessively tight (an issue I had with a prior cuff that had to get so tight I thought my arm would go numb before it finished). It’s great that a free app is available for tracking. Even though the results aren’t sent automatically, it only takes seconds to put them in my phone. It’s nice that the device has memory also, so that I can update my app if I forget to transfer the results.

The cuff arrived quickly, but my initial setup didn’t work (not sure if it was operator error, battery placement or hardware). I emailed support and was able to troubleshoot and arrange for a free replacement the same day (day before Thanksgiving and responsiveness was still great). Within three days (including Thanksgiving holiday), I had the replacement, popped it out of the box and it worked perfect!

I’ve used Greater Goods BP monitors in the past, in fact I have a more traditional arm monitor from them that I’ve been using for a while. The results on both are very close and average out about even. Mainly I care less about the absolute numbers and more about the overall trends, so being 1 or 2 points different isn’t a big concern to me.

This wrist monitor was much smaller than I expected, sort of a like a very large watch. I did make the mistake of not looking at the picture to see how it was word (LCD goes on the inside of your wrist just below your palm) and my initial result was a tad crazy. But my fault for not looking at the picture on the device 🙂

The app is really easy and you can quickly see your trends over time (3 day/month/year etc..). While it doesn’t support my platform (google fit) it does allow me to export the results to a spreadsheet and then I just use a freeplatform called fitnessyncer to import that spreadsheet into google (also supports just about every platform, ftbit, garmin, etc.). Love that it has bluetooth!

My only quip would be that it’ll probably eat batteries quickly since its mechanically inflating the sleeve. I’d love to have seen a way to plug it in to recharge via USB but I guess that takes away from its portability and you have to compromise somewhere.

Great wrist monitor, great company (they donate a part of the sale to local charities).

Compact, easy to use, & accurate. Set up was a breeze they even include a link to a helpful set up video. Love the indicator that tells you when your wrist is in the correct position. It’s a great size for taking with you when necessary. This has already replaced my bulkier monitor. I compared results of the two & they both gave me similar results so I know it works (I had previously taken my larger monitor to the doctors office so he could compare & make sure it gave accurate results.). I would definitely recommend this. Great little monitor especially for the price.
