Machine is very inaccurate. My wife is 39 weeks pregnant and it showed she had high blood pressure so we went on to the hospital. We took the machine with us to double check the accuracy to the hospital machines and it wasn’t even close. My wife’s blood pressure was perfectly fine and we literally are at the hospital because this inaccurate machine was wrong. Buy something else if you need it to be accurate.

Paramed customer service just contacted me about sending a replacement unit in the event the first might have been defective or miscalibrated, very appreciative of their concern.
01/25/2021 (edit delay based on my wanting time to test the replacement monitor)
The replacement monitor arrived as promised and is operating as expected, compared to another unit I own, readings align between both. It arrived in time for a primary care telemedicine meeting where I had to demonstrate to medical staff my use of the monitor, all went well
I am upgrading my product rating to 4 starts
Pros:
–Quiet operation, comfortable cuff, like the artery alignment icon, easy to see display
–Have started using the Paramed monitor as my primary reader over the older CVS monitor
Cons:
–Had to return the first unit and wait for the replacement, but than can happen, and Paramed Customer Support was very good about promptly addressing the issue and constantly communicating with me to my satisfaction
–Would be nice being able to deleted stored readings in memory in one step, but you have to view and delete readings one at a time. The upside to that is users don’t accidentally delete their entire BP history in case you need to to review some of them later.
Other thoughts:
–Have been using monitors for a few years, I know the procedure. Typically have to find the sweet spot on cuff placement with each unit using manufacturer use instructions. I would feel comfortable purchasing another monitor from this seller and manufacturer

This works very well and seems to be very accurate, but I have to say it squeezes my arm very, very tightly before it starts taking the reading and releasing it’s grip. I thought if I loosened it, it might help but it made it worse and was so tight I started to lose the feeling in my fingers! So, make sure it’s snug on your arm, in the correct place, and it might start out pretty tight, but it will be better than losing the feeling in your fingers!

I wanted to find a good product for a good price. I found it. Works perfectly fine for me. The numbers are exactly what they should be. My wife has compared it with an expensive one and they basically do absolutely the same job. I’m really glad I didn’t waste my money for any other product I was offered before. Another great thing is easy setup and easy to use

I thought I was buying one that attached to your wrist. Pleasantly surprised when it came for what we paid. My husband takes his bp 3 times than takes an average but the readings are close anyway. It seems accurate. So far so good.

First thing that caught my attention this blood pressure monitor is nicely packaged, comes in a with a set of batteries and a duster. Instructions are listed even on a sleeve so it is EASY figure how to use them.
It’s compact and gives exact measurements.
