This is an easy-to-use blood pressure monitor. The cuff is nicely sized for both smaller and larger individuals, reading accurately in both cases. The monitor is powered by four AAA batteries, which are included (note the description indicates AA batteries, which is not the case). The readout is a back-lit LCD with large numbers, and the final results are spoken clearly (e.g. Your systolic is 110…your diastolic is….), perfect for an individual who has visual acuity difficulties. The unit has timestamp abilities if you program it, and you can identify one of two stored individuals if you wish to keep track. There’s no bluetooth or other connectivity. The unit has a 5V DC USB-C input on the side, I tried that with my computer’s charger and USB-C cable but while it plugged in properly, the unit did not turn on. The instructions don’t say anything about the port. I also tried connecting it via a USB-C to USB-C cable from my MacBook Pro, the backlight flashed briefly but the unit still wouldn’t turn on. Overall, though, the unit didn’t promise connectivity or an external power source, and for the price point, it provides a perfectly accurate blood pressure reading with the added bonus of a clear visual readout combined with spoken audio (which can be turned off if desired).

I bought this blood pressure gauge for my parents, it is very accurate and I really like the voice command that announces the blood pressure measurement. the screen is bright and very visible.
