We have had this machine for just a few months now and it was great in the beginning and liked everything about it, but even after two uses of new batteries in the machine it tells us battery’s are low and to change them. We have changed them many times with new fresh batteries and it will not work. I finally ended up throwing it away – we were done with it and back to the old machine! It is a shame since it does talk to you and it says the blood pressure numbers when done. Glad I did not pay a lot for it – don’t waste your money.

After using this product to track my blood pressure daily I took it with me to the doctor. Both the systolic and diastolic readings with Alcedo were 15 points HIGHER than the doctor. We did a couple of measurements over the course of the appointment and the Alcedo was consistently significantly higher than what the doctor got. I wasted money, time and worry with this machine!

Never mind, apparently my doctors nurse can’t take blood pressure readings accurately. Cardiologist confirmed that these numbers are correct. I changed my star rating to five.
I took several readings throughout the course of a week (including right before I left the house for a doctor appointment). This thing had me freaking out because it kept telling me numbers that were 25 – 30 points higher than my normal b.p. My doctor checked twice and my numbers were normal. She said adults should use an adult (large) cuff… naturally this company doesn’t make a large. It’s odd because this cuff fits me fine.

This is a great buy, I purchased it in a deal price, it is more than I expected. The features in it are great and it even plays music as it takes your blood pressure. If a person is unable to see and needs to use it, it also talks to you . It tells you what your blood pressure and heart rate are and keeps a memory of 120 uses for one person an a 120 for another person too.

This monitor constantly tells me I have high blood pressure and I don’t. I’m getting it checked at the Dr office once per week at this point due to being pregnant in the third trimester. I bought this to ease my nerves about preeclampsia and since it isn’t accurate it hasn’t helped at all. My last reading was 157/106 and when it was taken at the doctor office it was completely normal, so it’s not just inaccurate, it’s way off.

The product appears to be good quality. I’ve had it for 5 days, and once I figured out the correct way to place it on my arm, I seem to be getting accurate readings. Originally, I looked at the manual and placed the tube on the inside of my arm as the picture indicated. I got readings all over the place. Then, I noticed the icon on the sleeve that says ”Artery Mark.” I looked online to find where my artery should be, and realized I had the sleeve in the wrong location. I now place the artery mark an inch or so to the right of the middle of my left arm. This places the tube on the left edge of my arm (with my palm up). I am getting more consistent, and I believe more accurate, readings.
I gave only 3 stars for ”easy to use” because it is awkward to put on yourself (at least it is for me). I get it too tight or too loose. If it’s too tight, I can’t move it so the artery mark is in the correct position. I may get better as I use it more often. I rarely give 5 stars, especially if I’ve only had the product a short time.

I’ve owned a number of blood pressure monitors over the years as I, unfortunately, was diagnosed with high blood pressure a number of years ago. I am on three different medications to keep my blood pressure under control. A good blood pressure monitor is crucial in maintaining a visual account of how your blood pressure looks on a daily basis. The Alcedo blood pressure monitor is a well-designed digital blood pressure monitor that indicates, with large display, and audible assistance, your blood pressure and pulse as well as abnormal heart rhythms. It will also maintain a record of your readings for up to two people. There is a date and time display as well. The unit is very easy to set up and use with the included instructions. It also includes a very nice zippered carrying case. I have found this unit’s accuracy to be superior to several wrist cuff units I have tried. The Alcedo blood pressure monitor is also reasonably priced and well worth the money. Everyone should consider buying this unit to keep tabs on their blood pressure.

This monitor has modern design and large cuff, and it is great for home use! I really enjoy using this monitor because of its excellent quality/price ratio.
The measurement is accurate. The giant screen makes reading very easy. The internal memory capacity good for 2 different users, with the date and time of each shot. I use it for myself and my family.
