I was afraid the large cuff would not be big enough for my arm, but to my pleasant surprise, it’s works great. I’m a size 2x or 22/24. I’ve tested my blood pressure against this and my original wrist tester and they both always read very close. Only off 1 or 2 digits. I’ve enjoy using this and it helps me feel like I can trust the reading.

Arrived quickly. Packaging fine. Found instructions poorly written. Every time I tried to use it, I got an E3 response: cuff too tight. Tried repeatedly.to get a reading. Ten attempts might yield one reading. Obviously not good for my blood pressure if I am constantly swearing at the thing. Doctor said to check BP often. Not happening. Last night I tried seven times. Got a few E3’s after ten seconds. Got other E3’s after unit ran for a while. Try–fail–wait a few minutes–repeat. Finally gave up trying. Very exasperating. On a guess: attempts in one week: 25 a day for first three days yielding 5 readings. Got disgusted and stopped trying for a few days. Will take it to next doc appointment on Tuesday. Maybe they can figure it out. Meanwhile not easy to use, instructions far from clear, would not recommend for a person trying to check BP.

Easy to carry and seems to be accurate. I have compared it with my doctors reading twice and it was in the correct range. The cuff seems to be the perfect size for a large cuff.

Quite accurate. I purchased this for my mother to keep track of her pressures. As a Paramedic, I was quite concerned with it’s accuracy, so I did a comparison. I had Mom take her own pressure with the machine, waited a couple minutes and then I took it manually. I was very Impressed with it’s accuracy. Mom loved the fact that she could easily apply the cuff with one hand and that it was simple to do. Also unlike her old BP machine that works at the wrist, there is no need to hold her arm up in the air, very still and in a sweet spot. The screen also changes color to easily display High, med or low readings. Will buy one for each of my siblings!!!!

My Blood Pressure Monitor was displaying the pressure in kPa (kilopascals) instead of mmHg (millimeters of mercury). I had only read the instructions as far as setting the time and date. If I had read on I would have found I had to set the units next! I was having to convert the readings on the computer. This was my fault – there’s nothing wrong with the monitor. Just read all the instructions. 🙂

I’ve been using this machine for a little over a week now and everything seems to be good. I took it to my Dr to make sure it was reading accurately, and the machine was very close to the Dr’s reading. I really like the colored screen so I know what’s high and what’s not with a glance at the screen. It comes with a storage case that’s big enough for me to put a pen and a small notebook in to keep track of my readings. The machine will also keep track of your readings but I like to write them down. The only thing I wish I could change would be the cuff size, I wish it were a little bigger. All in all, I would definitely recommend!

I am very large with very thick arms and even at the doctor’s office they often struggle to get accurate readings so I was very skeptical about buying a product to use at home. The doctor required that I record my bp daily so I had to find a way to do this. Ratings were pretty good on this product and the large cuff was encouraging so I took the chance. Just as in the doctor’s office I used my lower arm (wrist) to do the reading as it is most accurate that way. I was very surprised that the device worked so well and even more surprised when I got the exact reading that I had at the doctor’s office. I have only used it for a week but so far I am very happy with the quality of this product. Very easy to set up and use right away.

    works well

  9. lputwez (verified owner)

It seems pretty good.Easy to use.I don’t know how accurate it is but that will show in time.I don’t have to go to the doctor and that’s good.

  10. Jennifer (verified owner)

simple to use with a clear easy to read display

  11. Ggolcoy (verified owner)

This BP monitor gave me very high, incorrect readings, scaring me to death. I sought medical attention. This product repeatedly gave a reading of 30-40 points above that of professional equipment! When purchasing, I read the reviews on top. If I’d read the * star ones, with many instances of false high readings (and other people with resulting ER bills), I would never have purchased this product. This company should investigate its quality control on such an important product.

I really like the fact that this is backlit. I can leave it on the nightstand next to the bed and take my blood pressure in the middle of the night if I want to. It’s a big plus over the other one I had that wasn’t backlit.

I tested this unit against the highly precise blood pressure meters in the doctor’s office and the hospital and found it to be within a few points either side of those measurements. Given the fact that blood pressure can change quite drastically and just a few seconds, I consider this to be a high level of accuracy for this meter. I feel confident that the numbers are accurate and correct. I cannot take some of my medications if my blood pressure is too low so it is critical that I know that this machine is correct. I am now convinced that it is. I would give this Unity 5 Stars if the actual cuff was of a little better design. It works but it’s not perfect. Hey, what are you expect for under $30
