I payed over $100.00 for my OMRON BP4350 device. I want to use it and gather information for me & my Doctor. There is no mentioning before purchasing this device that to fully use this device that I have to first create an account that insisted that I agree to have all that information collected by an USA located company. This information is for me & my doctor only. OMRON received 100% money for this device it also has to make it 100% usable. But 2.5 app rating? Not great for OMRON.

I have tried other wrist monitors but none of them, until this one, have been accurate. My doctor even said ”there are no wrist monitors” that she would recommend. But, I recently tried my dad’s Omron & it was spot on so I ordered this one & it matches up perfectly with my cuff that has been tested at the clinic against their monitors.

My blood pressure varies so much, my doctor wants me to take it frequently but it isn’t do-able with my cuff. I am SO glad I found this. Now I can take it on the go, first thing in the morning & whenever I feel weird as my doctor is constantly adjusting my meds to find the perfect fit. I was able to print out my results for her & she was thrilled to have the records.

The only slight issue is that on the display in the app, the numbers overlap & make them hard to read sometimes but it isn’t a big deal as I can see it on the monitor just fine. It is just an app issue.

I am so glad I didn’t give up, I purchased other wrist monitors that were awful & returned them. This one is SO portable & so easy, it isn’t a huge ordeal to use it so I use it all the time!

This thing did not give us even one accurate reading. The numbers were completely wrong….including an E number, whatever that is. I am sending this back immediately.

My systolic consistently reads at 141 or 143 yet when I take my blood pressure with this wrist monitor it reads in the 120s talked to my doctor and was advised wrist monitors are further away from your heart and typically less reliable than upper arm blood pressure monitors. If you’re looking for a good blood pressure monitor may I suggest Omron platinum it consistently and easily delivers all the information you need with an upper arm wrap. My advice is to stay clear of all wrist monitors

The first thing to notice: It packs very nicely in a small hard case, so perfect for travelling. The display is big, but not as easy to read in any lighting, backlit would help here, but the heart to show that you are in the right position is bright blue, so that helps.
But be careful: It might be easily overlooked that the table on which you rest your arm needs to have a specific hight – 12+/-2 inches above your seat. Only then the device will show you the right hight of your wrist and only then the measures are precise, but then they are very precise compared to the measures with the upper arm cuff.
Altogether – in spite of the little downsides – I am quite happy with the device so far.

Mine is extremely inaccurate. Reads low as compared to my doctors office pressure reading, I took it into the doctor’s office and read it right after the nurse took my actual blood pressure. If only my blood pressure was that low! This device was stating I had a normal blood pressure when it was much too high. If you’re counting on protecting your health don’t count on this device. Yeah it’s easy to use, yeah it’s easy to read, but INACCURATE on the low side.

Lots of good review here. Lots of bad reviews too. I figured it was down to user error and it would be great for me. Wrong! Very, very small differences in how you wrap it, where you wrap it, where your arm is, how you’re sitting, etc. make a very big difference in the results. While you may be OK with it, that’s just too fussy for me as no consistency could be found. If you’re happy then good for you! I expect most would be like me. Sadly returning it.

I’m an ER nurse and I think most of these OTC (over the counter) products are junk. I decided to get this one because I’ve seen them used in some of my PCP offices. I can’t take my own BP with a standard sphygmomanometer. It was pretty reasonably priced, worth a try.

So far so good, seems accurate vs my thousand dollar machines at work. A good reference tool. But I wouldn’t just sit and take BP over and over and over. ItS always going to be a different #

I took this to my Dr. to ensure accuracy, and it was spot on! For those of us with hypertension, we must closely monitor our BP to stay on top of things….plus an app for your phone can keep the history of readings…you can email them or print them out for your Dr. visits…..shows a true at home BP that you don’t necessarily get at the office. Small enough for travel. Highly recommended.

Appears to measure BP but User Interface is hostile compared to an older Omron model.

Display contrast is bad plus there is not an internal backlight.

Indication of when device is at right height relative to heart is confusing and flakey, a blue light comes on and is usable briefly then goes out leaving the dim symbols, there is a flashing black symbol at bottom left. E for error is visible though. ,-)

Support is not good, staff have not tried their aldvice themselves..

I went out of my way and paid a premium price for Omron, very disappointed.

    Recommend Against.

I have been using this blood pressure cuff for about two months. It has shown repeated high readings as high as stage 2 hypertension. I was convinced I was having high blood pressure because the cuff says I am! In the cardiologist’s office their blood pressure machine read 127/80 and this cuff read 148/90…. need I say more about this cuff? It is extremely inaccurate. I want to return it but the last day for that was 11 days earlier than I could be seen by a cardiologist. A waste of money….

I made the mistake of buying this monitor.

It was highly inaccurate. I spent much time troubleshooting with Omron support. They told me to send it in for evaluation. Then, they kept it for several weeks. When I complained to Amazon, they returned it to me, claiming it worked correctly.

    It is still totally inaccurate.

I finally gave up. Don’t buy from Omron. They won’t honor their warranty and Amazon won’t enforce it.

EDIT: It did sync with GoogleFit eventually. I’m not sure why the initial difficulty, but weeks later I got an email stating my Omron account had been activated.
I really don’t know where to begin, so I’ll start with the app. The app sucks, it’s just rubbish in terms of functionality and design. There are all kinds of features and options, but because so little care was put into the development of the app most of the options either don’t work, or are too cumbersome to easily utilize. There are options to sync with Google Fit, but it just doesn’t sync. (EDIT: will now sync) One can add notes to, or delete, readings from the monitor but the chart cannot be closed so only one reading may be viewed at a time. Users cannot move to the next reading, the previous page must be re-opened and users must scroll though (up to dozens of) readings to get to the next one.
There is plenty of text overwrite and no way to correct it because the app doesn’t function in landscape view. There’s also a nice pop-up letting you that after the trial period ends Kardia (the app is a Kardia product, not an Omron product) will limit cloud storage of your data without paying a subscription. This extortion is doubly insulting after viewing the quality of the exported data in pdf format. (A CSV export is available but importing that data into another platform would be a daunting task.)
The monitor itself is practically analog and contrary to the Amazon listing it is NOT backlit. Even in decent lighting the LCD screen is difficult to read from most angles, and oversized for its function. The error code for leaks has regularly been returned on a product in use for only a few days.
