I received the Vive Precision Smart Blood Pressure Cuff Monitor – Automatic Upper Arm Digital Machine – Home Use Heart Rate Sensor – Hypertension Diagnosis – Accurate Pulse Reading – BPM Gauge Kit – Phone Monitoring in exchange for this review.
Both my husband and I are told to monitor our blood pressure by our doctors. We each had a single-account device and mine had started to malfunction. So we got this one hoping to be able to track both of us on this 4-person device. We liked that it also was purported to be able to save the readings on your phone as well.
On the accuracy aspect: It has given readings in the range I have been getting with my old device so it is accurate for me. My husband, on the other hand, has not.
1: It tried to say his blood pressure was 295/173 (According to his old device he was a125/87 reading one minute later.)
2: It squeezed his arm so hard, and kept reinflating for over 5 minutes…which left his arm visibly marked and bruised for over a week. As if it couldn’t handle his 35cm upper arm when that IS within the size range given for the cuff. (I am at the extreme lower end having skinny, bony arms…so it works fine for me)

Now: for the issue of the Bluetooth app.
1: The app, as downloaded, doesn’t work the way the instruction manual says it should…there is no ”switch” to turn on the interface for syncing after the initial setup…so EVERY time I transfer readings, I need to do so from scratch.
2: The actual information you transfer is BURIED around 5 layers down from where it says you should find it. If I hadn’t decided to first touch ”data” then 2021, then March, THEN ”Records”…I NEVER would’ve found it.
I also noticed that though the device has 4 ”accounts” it will download ALL of them to the ”Person 1” records…and you cannot even use it on more than one phone…so the app is HORRIBLE.

So if you have thinner arms, and only want one person to use this, OR if you want multiple thin-armed people to use it but never use the app, then this could be good…but it is NOT good for most men, and don’t plan on using the phone app without difficulty.

Per my wife: I do not have an iPhone, but I like the option of being able to sync this monitor with one should I get one in the future. As a blood pressure monitor, it has some very nice features. First off, this machine will track blood pressure readings for up to four different people. This is fantastic for a larger household. Most machines only track one or two users. Second, the numbers are nice and large on the reading, very easily seen. Third, the setup is super easy. Fourth, it runs off either batteries or AC. It uses four AA alkaline batteries, which are provided. At first I thought using AC didn’t work, but then I discovered that, at least on my machine, if I pushed the power plug in all the way and then pulled it back just a tiny, tiny bit, then it worked fine. Fifth, the blood pressure cuff fits a very wide size range from 22-44 cm, which should fit most adults. Sixth, the readings seem to be accurate. Now for the negatives. First, the date and time continue to be displayed even when the machine is off, what the instructions call ”clock mode,” which is an unnecessary use of battery power. The solution to that is to leave the machine plugged in when it is not in use. Being able to turn the machine completely off would be so much better. Second, the blood pressure cuff gets very tight when it is inflated–however, this is true for all automatic blood pressure machines that I have ever used, so it is what it is. If it hurts to the point where I just can’t deal with it, pressing the Stop button will cause an immediate deflation, which is good. I won’t get a blood pressure reading unless i tough it out, though. Third, though it was possible for me to do, I found it awkward and difficult for me to put the blood pressure cuff on my own arm and position and tighten it properly. Perhaps additional practice will help make it easier and smoother. In summary, this is a good blood pressure machine with many positive features, and a few negatives. Overall, I rate it 4 stars.

Product works good for the price. Not the most intuitive, but does sync to iPhone. One of the only ones in this price range that has that feature. This is my only blood pressure monitor so not much else to compare to.
